Tracey Emin is a British artist best known for her provocative and emotionally charged works that often explore themes of personal trauma, sexuality, and identity.
Born on July 3, 1963, in London, she rose to fame in the 1990s as part of the "Young British Artists" (YBA) group. Emin's art spans various mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and installation. One of her most famous works, My Bed (1998), an installation featuring her own unmade bed surrounded by personal items, earned international recognition and was displayed as part of the 1999 Turner prize exhibition.
