Biography

Deborah Jones is a British contemporary artist and graduate of Central Saint Martins. Her practice combines a strong foundation in design with an expressive, contemporary approach to art.

Drawing inspiration from the Art Deco period, Jones creates distinctive works that explore the natural world through the deconstruction and reconstruction of flora and fauna. Working across oil, acrylic, spray paint and 24-carat Superior Manetti gold leaf, she combines rich textures, expressive mark-making and ornate detailing to produce compositions that balance contemporary energy with a sense of decadence and refinement.

A finalist in David Shepherd’s Wildlife Artist of the Year 2026, Jones has received recognition from publications including Tatler, Design & Decor UK, Suboart Magazine and Women United Art Magazine. Her work has also featured in curated collections with Saatchi Art, Degree Art, Artfinder and Sota, alongside creative collaborations including designs for Nike at Indigo.

Jones has held three solo exhibitions in London. She also regularly exhibits at leading art fairs, continuing to connect her work with collectors and audiences.
